Medical Marijuana & Qualifying Conditions
As defined by Chapter 69.51A of the Revised Codes of Washington (RCW), patients with terminal and/or debilitating medical conditions are allowed to use medical marijuana. These conditions include:
- Cancer.
- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
- Multiple Sclerosis.
- Epilepsy, seizure disorders, and spasticity disorders.
- Intractable pain, unrelieved by standard medical treatments and medications.
- Glaucoma.
- Crohn’s disease.
- Hepatitis C, with debilitating nausea and/or intractable pain.
- Diseases, including anorexia, which result in nausea, vomiting, wasting, appetite loss, and cramping.
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Cachexia, and Frybromyalgia.
- Arthritis and Degenerative Disk Disease.
- Diabetes with complications.
